Edinburgh v Dragons
Well the first time in weeks that we played in near enough perfect conditions -- by perfect I mean no howling gales and no horizontal rain . Just a great pitch with no wind and an overcast but dry night!
|To come in at half time 3-3 was a big bonus for us as they threw the kitchen
sink and most of the utensils at us, but with the likes of Hal Luscombe who defended his heart out and saved us on numerous occasions
Second half all the tries started raining in -- a great one,
including myself may I add, which Hal finished off, and one at the end with Monty wallow -- just a shame they banged a few in in between !
To sum it all up the effort was there, the heart was there, you couldn't have asked much more --- if we just tidy up some of our play and maybe get a few home games to get a bit of confidence we will be on our way !!!!
